Visit to Dowgate Fire Station, Thursday 8th June 2017

Dowgate Fire Station, 94-95 Upper Thames Street, London, EC4R 3UE


The Events Committee (formerly known as the Livery Committee) have arranged a visit to the Dowgate Fire Station, the last remaining, fully operational, fire station in the City of London. The programme will run in the following form:

1030 – 1130      Group A City Business Engagement Workshop (CBEW), Group B Fireboat Trip

1130 – 1230      Group B CBEW, Group A Fireboat Trip

1230 – 1300      Group A & B demonstration drill in station yard (A281)

1300 – 1330      Group A & B Fire Investigation Dogs demonstration in station yard

1330 – 1345      Q&A fire brigade staff.

It is proposed that the visit will be followed by lunch at a suitable nearby location.  The fire brigade can accommodate a maximum of 15-20 participants.  There is no specific charge for the visit so the main cost will be the lunch thereafter. The cost of the lunch will be determined once a location has been identified. If you would like to go on the visit please register your interest by calling or emailing the office.
