Liverymen of at least one year’s standing are invited to attend the election of the Sheriffs on Monday 26th June. The election will commence when the Lord Mayor takes the chair at 12 noon precisely. However, if you wish to sit in the Great Hall you would be advised to arrive much earlier than this. If you would like to attend please let me know and I will send you your pass. Can you also let me know if you would like to join your fellow Turners for lunch after the election, which following the success of recent elections will be with other livery companies in a nearby livery hall or similar establishment. I anticipate that the cost will be in the region of £65 – £70 per person for three courses and wine.
I would be grateful if you could let me know at your earliest convenience (and by no later than Friday 2nd June) if you would like to attend the election and/or the lunch so that I can confirm numbers with the caterers
