A musical feast this summer – live!
Are you missing the Proms, Opera and concerts? If so, help is at hand from the Voces8 Foundation.
The Plaisterers’ Company and several other Livery Companies, support the education outreach work of the Voces8 Foundation based in St Anne and St Agnes Church in Gresham Street.
A series of 10 concerts, ‘Live from London’ will be performed each Saturday evening (start time 7.00pm) beginning on Saturday 1 August, from 2 London venues. There will be performances by (amongst others) The Academy of Ancient Music, The Sixteen, the exciting US Ensemble Chanticleer, Voces8 and Apollo5.
The concerts will be broadcast live in HD and you can enjoy them from the comfort of your home with a glass in hand.
All ticket holders will be able to watch live and/or on demand from the date of broadcast until 3rd October and in addition will be granted viewing rights to the full 4K post-produced concert film(s) they have purchased from 4th-31st October.
In the spirit of collaboration and unity with which this festival was formed, ticket prices have been structured to enable artists and promoters to raise much needed funds to help cover losses suffered as a result of COVID-19. A portion of all tickets sold will be put towards funding for grassroots music education and to addressing topics of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in choral music.
