Bursary Award Winners Announced
Many congratulations to the winners of the Worshipful Company of Turners bursary award for 2019. This year, the Company received an unprecedented amount of entries, and competition was very strong. The panel therefore had some difficult decisions to make, but are delighted to announce the following recipients:
Jonnie Crawford, Joe Creed-Kaile, Miriam Jones, Richard Kennedy, Adrian Lloyd, Jason Lock, Matt Underwood, Matthew Whittaker.
Each turner will receive a sum of money to help with their individual requests of tuition, training, or supplies, and will have a mentor from the Company to guide them through the process. The winners will also benefit from the Company raising their profiles through features on the Company website and social media, and at Wizardry in Wood in 2020.
