Livery Luncheon

To be held on 27th September, this is an informal lunch for Liverymen and their guests and an ideal time to introduce potential new members to the Company. There will be an opportunity to welcome our new Liverymen who will have been presented with the livery at the Court meeting preceding the lunch.


Ballad Walk the Craft of Medieval London

The 2022 Turners walk has been some months in the making. Featuring Medieval ballad and folk researcher Vivien Ellis and acclaimed Blue Badge Guide Dafywd Wyn Phillips, this walk will take place on 21st September starting at Guildhall Yard.


Simulating Talent through Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, A Seminar

The current Platinum Master’s year group had a Zoom call discussing Diversity and Inclusion at the end of March. The consensus from that discussion was that a follow up face to face seminar would be helpful. This will be held at Mercers' Hall on 21st July, all Liverymen welcome.


Court and Summer Reception

Be prepared to be wowed at the Company Summer Reception on 14th July where you will be able to view and purchase work from our bursary award winners 2022. We will again enjoy wine and canapes in the special atmosphere of Apothecaries' Hall courtyard. 


Election of Sheriffs

All Liverymen are invited to attend Common Hall at Guildhall, on Friday 24 June for the Election of the Sheriffs. The office of the Sheriff is the oldest civic office in the City (older even than the office of the Lord Mayor itself). Tickets are limited to 30, so book early to avoid disappointment.


Election Court and Dinner

After a decision taken by the Court of Assistants in 2020, the Election Court Dinner was due to be opened up to all Liverymen and Freemen. This dinner open to all members was postponed so will now happen on Thursday 26th May 2022. Please join us to celebrate the new Master's accession to the post.


Thai Burma Railway Talk and Dinner

"From the fall of Singapore to the surrender of Japan my father was a POW under the Japanese. Learning more about this period of his life and those whom he served with has been a lifelong journey of discovery." Col Rob Lucas will deliver his fascinating talk on 12th May at the Army & Navy Club.


Livery Dinner at Trinity House

Due to the cancellation of the Company’s Livery Dinner before Christmas, it will be now held at Trinity House on Thursday 5th May. We will keep your booking, unless you request a refund. If you didn't book for the Christmas event, but would now like to attend in May, please book via the website.


Spring Dinner

This year the Spring Dinner will be held at Barber Surgeons' Hall on Wednesday 13th April 2022 at 6.30pm for 7.00pm. This dinner provides members with the opportunity to invite spouses, partners, family and friends to enjoy the conviviality of a Turners’ evening.


RPT AGM and Craft Meeting

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED TO ONLINE, and will start at 14.00. Open to all Company members, please book if you are interested to attend, and a link will be emailed to you nearer the time.


Common Hall and Richard Gardner Williams Banquet

The Master and the Wardens wish to invite you to the Richard Gardner Williams Banquet to be held on Thursday 24th February at Saddlers’ Hall. The banquet is held in memory of the Company’s benefactor, Richard Gardner Williams, whose legacy in 1931 provided the Company with financial support.


Court Dinner

All members of the Court and Masters Emeriti are invited, to join the Master, Wardens and their guests at the Court Dinner which will take place on Thursday 20th January 2022 at Tallow Chandlers' Hall.


Livery Dinner at Trinity House

The Company’s Livery Dinner will be held at Trinity House on Monday 20th December, and we are delighted to announce that this year we again will be joined by the Lord Mayor. Please don't delay booking your places as the venue is slightly smaller than we are used to.


The Musicians’ Company Carol Service

After joining a virtual carol service last year, the tradition of sharing the Musicians' Company Carol service at St Michael Cornhill Church is back. The service will be held on on Wednesday 15th December, and there will be a festive dinner afterwards at Saddlers' Hall.


Patronal Service and Luncheon

So delighted to be able to come together again for the annual Patronal Service held to remember and celebrate the lives and fellowship of Company members no longer with us. It has been two long years apart, please book your places in the members area and join us on Thursday 25th November.

The Company Livery Lunch for Liverymen and Court Members will be held in Apothecaries Hall on Tuesday 21st September. This is an informal lunch for Liverymen and their guests and an ideal time to introduce potential new members to the Company.


Company Reception at Wizardry in Wood

The Company will hold a Reception at Wizardry in Wood for all members on Thursday 14th October between 6 and 8pm at Carpenters' Hall. This is an ideal opportunity for you to introduce family and friends to the wonders of our craft and view some of the UK's most skilled and creative woodturners.


Inter-Livery Tennis Competition

The Feltmakers’ Inter-Livery Tennis Competition will be held on Monday 13th September 2021 at the Hurlingham Club. The competition will be followed by dinner in the Hurlingham Club when the Master of the Feltmakers’ Company will present prizes to the winners and the runners-up.


Puttshack Bank mini golf event

Celebrating the end of formal lockdown the Turners company have booked 18 holes of tech-enabled mini-golf at Puttshack Bank on 28th July. Like the Christmas magician this event will be suitable for Turners and for younger relations who can also wield a club.


Summer Dinner

To celebrate the anticipated lifting of the Government’s pandemic restrictions, it has been decided to upgrade the customary Summer Reception to a Summer Dinner, to be held at Apothecaries Hall on Tuesday 20th July. Timings will be 6.30 for 7.15 pm.
