Members of the Turners' Company are once again, cordially invited to enter the annual inter-livery competition for the magnificent Horners Trophy, at the equally magnificent Ashridge Golf Club on Monday 21st June 2021.

As the current Chairman of the Liveries Wood Group I am delighted to invite you to this webinar where Jonathan Drori, CBE has kindly agreed to give a presentation on his book ‘Around the World in 80 Trees’. This event will take place on 26th May 2021, David Mortlock Master Wheelwright.
27th Inter Livery Clay Shoot
If you are interested in clay shooting you may be interested in representing the Company at the Inter-Livery Clay Shoot in June 2021. The Company has been allocated to shoot on 23rd June. If you wish to be considered for the Turners' team please contact Liveryman Fred Bain.
Woodturning Demonstration
You are invited to an exclusive demonstration of woodturning by professional turner and Liveryman of the Turners Company Les Thorne assisted by Registered Professional Turner, Martin Saban-Smith on 24th March 2021.
Register of Professional Turners AGM
The Company will again be hosting the Register of Professional Turners for their AGM and Craft meeting via zoom on 18th March at 12 noon. Members of the Company interested in hearing more about the craft are invited to join the meeting.
Common Hall
Unfortunately, the Richard Gardner Williams Banquet will not go ahead as usual in February 2021, however Common Hall will be taking place via Zoom on February 25th, followed by virtual drinks
Virtual Tour of King William Street Station
The London Transport Museum is hosting an exclusive virtual tour for the Turners' Company of the disused King William Street Station on Thursday 4th March starting promptly at 6.00 pm.
Spring Dinner 2021 – cancelled
We are very sad to announce that Girdlers’ Hall has decided to stay closed for the foreseeable future, and therefore the Company Spring Dinner which was to be held on Thursday 22nd April is now cancelled.
Making of the Turners Consort
The Musicians Company, with whom we have a close relationship, are holding an event on 20th January and have invited our Master as guest speaker, kindly extending an invitation for members of the Turners Company to join.
Musicians’ Company Carol Service
The Turners have once again been invited to join the Musicians Company for their annual combined carol service on Wednesday 16th December for uplifting readings and inspirational music.

Wizardry in Wood Virtual Reception for Company Members
To mark the occasion of Wizardry in Wood that should have happened this year in Carpenters' Hall, it has been decided to hold a virtual event for members on Wednesday 30th September 2020.
Patronal Service and Luncheon – Postponed until Spring
It had been hoped that we would be able to hold the Patronal Service, either in person or virtually or a combination of both, on November 26th but unfortunately the latest lockdown has meant that this is no longer possible.
Livery Luncheon
It is with regret that a decision has been made to cancel the Livery Luncheon which was due to have been held on 22nd September 2020. We look forward to the time when we can all meet again.

Wizardry in Wood Reception for Company Members
Company members will be invited to an evening reception at Wizardry in Wood 2020 on Thursday 15th October from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, where the 'art and the mysterie' of the turner's craft will be on show.
Summer Reception
This year the Summer Reception will be held on Thursday July 2nd via zoom. Join fellow members, families and guests in the virtual world and also enjoy a ‘Meet the Maker’ opportunity with online demo.

Very sadly, the Spring Dinner which was due to be held at Girdlers’ Hall on Thursday 23rd April 2020 at 6.30pm for 7.00pm has been cancelled.
United Guilds’ Service – Cancelled
The United Guilds Service due to be held at St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday 27th March has been cancelled. If you have paid for this event, we will be issuing refunds.
