Cockpit Arts Awards are open for applications
There’s two weeks left to apply for The Cockpit Arts / Worshipful Company of Turners Awards. The Award comprises one year’s business support and subsidised studio space at Cockpit Arts in Deptford. Deadline 31 July. Find out more and apply.
This Award is for an aspiring or established turner i.e., someone who practices the art and craft of turning on a lathe in wood or other materials. The Award will help the selected turner by providing the space and time to grow their business, increase profitability and develop their profile. We will be looking for an individual who can demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit as well as creative excellence and craft skills.
The Award comprises one year’s business support and subsidised studio space at Cockpit Arts in Deptford, including access to a lathe and a workbench, thanks to The Worshipful Company of Turners.
Cockpit Arts is an award winning social enterprise and the UK’s only business incubator for craftspeople. It houses up to 170 small businesses at its two centres in central and South London.
