The Register of Professional Turners
AGM and Craft Meeting
When: Tuesday 26th March 2019
Where: Skinners’ Hall, 8 Dowgate Hill, London EC4R 2SP
The Company will again be hosting the Register of Professional Tuners for their AGM and Craft meeting. In a bid to encourage more members of the Register to attend, the timings have changed slightly in that the AGM will start at 12 noon and the Craft meeting will start after lunch. Members of the Company interested in hearing more about the craft are invited to join members of the Register for lunch and to stay for the craft meeting. There is often an opportunity to learn more from the professional turners in a local hostelry after the meeting!
The guest speaker this year will be Julie Crawshaw, Director of the Heritage Crafts Association.
The Heritage Crafts Association is the advocacy body for traditional heritage crafts. Working in partnership with Government and key agencies, it provides a focus for craftspeople, groups, societies and guilds, as well as individuals who care about the loss of traditional crafts skills, and works towards a healthy and sustainable framework for the future.
