When: Thursday 1st July 2021
Where: Apothecaries Hall, London (map)
Timings: after the Court, 6.30 pm for 7.15 pm
To celebrate the anticipated lifting of the Government’s pandemic restrictions from 21st June 2021, it has been decided to upgrade the customary Summer Reception to a Summer Dinner, to be held at Apothecaries Hall on Thursday 1st July. Timings will be 6.30 for 7.15 pm.
There will be a table of turned items for sale from members of the RPT. All proceeds from the sale will go towards supporting the Pain Management Programme at King Edward VII’s Hospital’s Centre for Veterans’ Health. This vital programme transforms the lives of Armed Forces veterans who are suffering from chronic physical and psychological pain.
For many of you, this will be the first opportunity to meet the Master and Wardens in person as they commence their second term in office. They hope to be able to welcome as many of you as possible. The dinner will commence with a sparkling reception in the fabulous Apothecaries’ Hall Courtyard (weather permitting) and will be followed by a three course dinner in the Great Hall.
The dinner is open to all Freemen and Liverymen and you will be very welcome to invite family and friends to what will be our first real (rather than virtual) Company event since February 2020. The dress code is lounge suit or summer smart. The cost is £115 per person and carriages will be approximately 10.30 pm. To book your places please visit the Events Section in the Members’ Area of the Company website. Bookings will be taken on a strictly first come first served basis in case social distancing is not relaxed as much as anticipated, therefore book early to avoid the potential for disappointment.
