For the last few years the Musicians’ Company have shared their annual carol service with us, held at St Michael’s Cornhill. The Musicians very much see this as a joint service and it would be good if as many Turners as possible could attend. This popular Carol Service will include a newly-composed carol by 2015 Collard Fellow Mark David Boden. The carol is commissioned by the Musicians’ Company with support from the Catherine Butcher Memorial Fund. Well-known congregational carols will be interspersed with traditional readings and choir carols. Do not worry if you feel that you cannot sing, the Musicians make such a wonderful and fulsome sound that it will drown out any dodgy notes coming from our pews!

Afterwards, we have been invited to join members of the Musicians Company for a glass of sparkling wine followed by a two-course buffet supper with wine, coffee and mince pies at a cost of £75 per person (including VAT).

Places for the meal afterwards will be limited so you are advised to register your interest in attending the dinner with the Clerk as early as possible, or book via the members area.
