Supporting the Craft, City and Charity for over four hundred years

Turners will be at the Becket Pageant for London!

Come visit the turners stand at the Becket Pageant in Guildhall Yard on 17th and 18th June.  This is a free event involving a Livery Crafts Fair, open from 11 am to 4 pm. There will be a pole lathe turning demonstration by Amy Leake, and a sale of turned items in support of The Turners’ Company Charity with items made by Amy.

Minstrels will also be wandering the Livery Crafts Fair, playing Medieval music on the Turners’ Consort instruments.

When: Friday 17th and Saturday 18th June 2022

Where: Guildhall Yard, off Gresham Street, London EC2V 5AE

There will also be a musical ‘London’s Turbulent Son’ performed with great energy and heart by a talented professional cast, and live band, members of the City of London Community and local schools.  If you would like to book tickets for the musical, please click here.

Audiences will be invited to imagine themselves as citizens of Tudor London with themed food, drink, street entertainers and fascinating live crafts displays by successors of the early guilds.

An unforgettable day of family fun, culture and celebration in the ancient heart of the City“.
