Turning Competitions 2020
Exhibited as part of the 2020 Wizardry in Wood Exhibition
When: Tuesday 13th October 2020 (competition day), Wednesday 14th October to Saturday 17th October (Exhibition days)
Where: Carpenters’ Hall, 1 Throgmorton Ave, London EC2N 2JJ (map)
Timings: The exhibition will be open to the public from 10 am until 4 pm
The biennial competitions are the largest in Europe and attract a wide range of entries from both amateur and professional UK woodturners.
The competitions are organised by the Turners’ Company with the:
Association of Woodturners of Great Britain (AWGB)
Society of Ornamental Turners (SOT)
Association of Pole Lathe Turners and Greenwood Workers (APTGW)
Note for Competitors:
To ensure your item is included in the 2020 competitions, entry forms should be received by Monday 5th October 2020. Entries after that date cannot be guaranteed inclusion into the competitions.
The judging will take part on Tuesday 13th October and all entries and winners will be exhibited as part of Wizardry in Wood 2020. All entries can be offered for sale during Wizardry in Wood.
