Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards, Card Event for Junior and Renter Wardens

An Inter-Livery fun game of cards at Vintners’ Hall in support of The Lord Mayor’s Appeal Charity

When: Monday 11th February, 18.00 – 22.30
Where: Vintners’ Hall
68, 1/2 Upper Thames St, London EC4V 3BG, UK

This event is run primarily to allow Junior/Renter Wardens to get to know each other well ahead of their year as Master. Any surplus income is in aid of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal Charity. This is undoubtedly the most fun event of the year and has been thoroughly enjoyed by many in the past. Last year was a “sell-out” and this year we are returning to the very popular Vintners’ Hall. By popular request we have added a cash bar after the Stirrup Cup which will enable guests to continue networking and enjoying themselves during the play-off round. The Junior/Renter Warden is encouraged to bring a guest; spouse/partner, fellow Warden, the Clerk or other member of the Company. The evening is in fact open to all livery members subject to capacity.

The dress code is black tie however the evening is informal and relaxed, a reception and 2-course supper is provided.
