The Worshipful Company of Turners held its inaugural Armed Forces Lunch at the Honourable Artillery Company, bringing together members, guests and representatives of all three Services. The event, organised by the Armed Forces Committee, celebrated the Company’s Armed Forces affiliations while making clear that this was an event for the whole Company, not solely those with military service. Guests enjoyed drinks in the Sutling Room, a three-course lunch in the Long Room, speeches by the Master and Lex Agathangelou, and a guided historical tour of the HAC by Colonel Brydon. The day highlighted the unique experiences available through membership of the Company and established a strong foundation for what is intended to become an annual tradition.
