Turners Golf Day

The annual Turners Golf Day was held at Cuddington Golf Club in Surrey on Tuesday 1st August 2023. Miraculously finding a bright and sunny day amongst the inclement weather of late, 19 Turners and guests enjoyed beautiful views over London, and challenging golf on the course’s lightning fast greens. After a welcome bite, 18 holes and a delicious meal in the lovely Arts and Crafts clubhouse, the Master captured the spirit of the day when commenting that the best prize was enjoying each other’s company; he went on to award the first place guest prize (a pole-lathe-turned bowl by Steve St Croix) to Mark Port and the Harvey Barton Trophy for the first-placed Turner to Liveryman Les Thorne.
