The Worshipful Company of Turners

Supporting the Craft, City and Charity for over four hundred years

In the top 6 best sellers at the Red Cross Christmas Fair!

The original City Christmas market is a splendid affair in Guildhall held over one gala open evening and one public open day as we move into Christmas, an event at which the Turners historically have a stall to support this great cause. The stall featured gifted items from the turning community and was amongst the most visited and successful of the City Livery stalls.

We feel very proud to have raised £3180 for the British Red Cross, thanks to the generosity and talent of our woodturners and our stall volunteers.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester showed considerable interest in the items and spent some time talking to volunteers and the Master and even spent some money with us!

Take a look at the Turners stall, and a little look around the fair….
