St Bride’s Church Re-Opening

We are delighted to announce that from Sunday 5th July, our doors will be open to visitors & tourists as well as for private prayer. The crypts and free exhibition will also be available.

Choral worship continues online; however, together with other events, choral services in church remain suspended for the time being. From 12th July there will be an additional public and Eucharist each Sunday morning at 10 am in church.

Sunday Podcasts

Two new podcasts are released every Sunday. These are the latest in a series which began with the lockdown and are listened to by a growing global community.

Thanks to the unparalled recording archive of St Bride’s Choir, all the service podcasts include outstanding choral music.

A podcast of Choral Eucharist is released at 11 am and Choral Evensong at 5:30 pm every Sunday. Services are also streamed as live on Facebook at those times.

Online Recitals

Our online recital series is up and running. Each Tuesday at 1:15 pm a new recital is streamed as live on Facebook. You can catch up with previous recitals at any time.

St Bride’s, Fleet Street is a warm and welcoming Christian community, and one of the most famous and most fascinating historic churches in Central London.

St Bride’s is known worldwide as the Journalists’ Church, offering a spiritual home to all who work in the media. However, our ministry extends to everyone who lives and works within our parish, and to the thousands of visitors who come to us every year. Our beautiful Wren church provides a place of peace and a spiritual haven in the heart of the city for all who come. With one of the best professional choirs in the country, we are also well known for the outstanding quality of our music and of the worship we offer.

A place of Christian worship for 1500 years, we continue to proclaim the love of God here. Whether journalist, tourist, City resident or worker, you will always be made welcome.  Alison Joyce, Rector of St Bride’s and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Turners
