The Worshipful Company of Turners

Supporting the Craft, City and Charity for over four hundred years

The trip was well attended and all present seemed to enjoy the itinerary. The cathedral went out of their way to welcome us, and we were escorted both by Mr David Bassford the secretary to the bellringers and Martin their Bell Captain.
Bells St Pauls #3

We were shown the bell chamber and our attention was drawn to the four bells donated by the Company in 1878, which I can report are both safe and sound!

We were treated to a ringing demonstration, and had the privilege of hearing one of our own bells rung.

Evensong was very enjoyable with some beautiful music and we were seated in a reserved area in the choir stalls which was a genuine treat.

Dinner at Harrys Bar was good fun and seemed to be enjoyed by all.
