Prize winners from the Turning Competitions 2021
It was an incredible week at Wizardry in Wood with so many entries to the competitions, we were overwhelmed by the support from the wonderful woodturning community. With more entries than we have ever had before, extra tables had to be brought in to provide enough space to show the work. The resulting displays wowed the judges who had a very difficult job choosing the winners in each category and also the public who came to view and buy in huge numbers.
Wizardry in Wood is run by a committee of volunteers who gave up many hours of their free time to run the exhibition and competitions, and it was an undoubted success for all who took part. Such a gem after the last two years at home, the atmosphere in the stunning Carpenters’ Hall throughout the week was one of excitement, and awe of the talent on show.
