Raising Money at the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch
A fun day was had at the Lord Mayor’s big Curry Lunch. The Turners raised £2800 to help meet the current urgent need to support veterans of HM Armed Forces into employment.
The Master Turner, Dr Matthew Gaved, gave the Duke of Gloucester a stunning bread board made by Katie Armstrong. Katie is the youngest member of the Register of Professional Turners.
The Deputy Master, Melissa Scott said of the day:
It was a super excellent day indeed and good to see the Lady Mayoress, Master Cook, Master Turner and Consort and a few Past Masters (in the photos below) so engaged with the Turner’s craft!
