Richard Gardner Williams Banquet – Truth and Lies
Richard Gardner Williams died on 13th February 1930 and in his will, he left a large part of his estate to the Turners’ Company. In doing this, he requested that the Company provide the cost of an annual dinner and banquet to all the members of the Company on the 24th February every year.
To honour the memory and generosity of Richard Gardner Williams, members enjoyed a dinner in the splendid surroundings of Skinners’ Hall.
