Darren Breeze, Yeoman of the Turners’ Company
Darren has been turning since 2007, initially just as a hobby, but now full time since 2018, living, working and selling from his premises Art & Craft in Wood at 117 High Street, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR32 1HN (map)
He has won numerous awards and accolades for his work, both in the UK and abroad. He has been featured in ‘Woodturning’ magazine (issue 315) and is on the Register of Professional Turners.
He is on the committee of several woodturning clubs, and teaches and demonstrates all over the UK and abroad.
I endeavour to create heirloom standard work at an affordable price, allowing all to share the love, passion and dedication I put into each piece. As a maker and artist I sell the items I make and create via my High Street shop, website and at selected shows and events. I also sell a wide range of woodturners tools and equipment, timber and a variety of finishes and colouring products for wood. I also have a selection of work made by local artisan crafts people.
