“I am the fourth generation of wood workers in my family, but the only female and only turner.
My work is inspired by my surroundings on a small farm in North Wales. Elements such as rope tyings on the farm and siledge feeders inspired the decorative elements in my work and are interpreted through inlaying coloured thread or weaving hand dyed sheep wool into the wood. My work is simple, decorative and colourful.” Miriam Jones
