Margaret Garrard, Yeoman of the Turners’ Company
I enjoy all aspects of woodturning. From turning large items to lace bobbins, working from intricate drawings or my own sketches. Each day I am at my lathe is different, as every piece of timber used is unique with its grain, texture and inherent markings. I am known mostly for involuted turning, and piercing and painting on thinly turned work. I demonstrate different techniques of woodturning, and this has taken me to many places throughout the UK, and other countries.
